I like to think of decoupage as painting with paper. Either I draw or paint onto tissue paper, or I use thousands of tiny strips of paper to create the actual image. All are afixed with water-soluble glue. The inside of the bottles may be cleaned, but the outside is vulnerable to water; keep them dry.
Many of the bottles I've used are very old - from the 1920's. I fill them with home-made liquors and bath salts. Bottles range from $15 to $60.
Occasionally, I have drawings on re-purposed cardboard. Prices vary.
Available online or in person is my children's book, Digby and the Great Buildings. Hand-drawn pastel pencil drawings are combined with photographs of famous buildings and set to rhyme. https://www.bookemon.com/flipread/901316/digby-and-the-great-buildings
